Delays on Line B of the CDMX Metro Continue

Delays on Line B of the Mexico City Metro, which began on Tuesday, February 18, continued this Thursday, generating complaints among users. From early on, delays of more than 10 minutes were reported.

The lines with the highest traffic on this occasion, according to the CDMX Metro, are 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, A, B, and 12, with a waiting time of 7 minutes. In contrast, lines 4, 5, and 6 are reported as 'clear' or with moderate traffic, with a waiting time of 6 minutes.

Regarding the reasons for the delays on line B, users mainly complain about technical problems with the trains. "We were just evacuated at the Oceanía station, the trains heading to Buenavista have been stopped for several minutes," commented a passenger. The CDMX Metro explained on social media that a train was removed for inspection, which has caused slow movement.

In addition to line B, delays are reported on others such as line 3 heading to Universidad and line 4 heading to Martín Carrera, with delays of 10 minutes. Line 8 is also experiencing issues for the second consecutive day, with passengers reporting delays in train departures from the Constitución de 1917 terminal. Users have expressed their dissatisfaction and have asked to expedite the service to arrive on time at their destinations.
